CSP PLANS 2015: IN JULY THE NATIONS CUP U23 WILL COME TO THE PROVINCE OF VARESE

Cycling Sport Promotion is planning next season which promises several highlights. The one which is creating more than the usual excitement is the piece of news which Mario Minervino's company is delighted to present: the Nations Cup U23 which will return to Italy after years of absence, thanks especially to Cycling Sport Promotion. The Nations Cup is the most important international competition in the under-23 category, after the world and continental championships and the Olympics. Only national teams can participate in a series of dates around the world. The top 20 nations go on to compete in the final at the Tour de L’Avenir, which is actually being held at the moment in France with the participation of: France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Russia, Austria, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Spain, USA, Luxembourg, Colombia, Germany, Australia, Portugal, Slovenia and Poland.

The race will be presented at Expo 2015 as one of Varese's events and will take place on Sunday 26 July 2015, with the 1st Almar Trophy as the prize. This race, organised by Cycling Sport Promotion, will be the only Nations Cup U23 to be held in Italy. Over the next few weeks, Mario Minervino, local institutions and sponsors will meet to define the start and finish points and other race details. (Photo Flaviano Ossola)
